Fifteen years ago I came back to my roots here on the Big Island of Hawaii, with a commitment to discover whom I am. The Western Civilization and the Hawaiian Kapu System has shaped who I am. But who am I? I discovered I am more than this when I go back prior to the 12th century. Laurie Keako'a Grant, Kahuna Ho'okahi has greatly affected my life. I experienced through her ARCH healing techniques tools to heal myself on all levels on my journey.

My grand mother taught me many of the healing arts, and just in these latter years I am discovering what their ancient meanings are and the effective impact on the individual. My father taught me for a while some then he stopped abruptly, when he joined a Western religion. The simple formulas I learned are in my mind, but the deeper meanings I am discovering everyday. I learned in my childhood, old Hawaiian ancient legends and prophecies. One of these prophesies was the coming of a "fair haired wahine that will carry on the traditions of Ancient Hawaiian of the old days, when love and peace existed." At that time there were no human sacrifice and no Kapu System. In my child's mind I formed a picture of an Angel with golden hair that God will send to Hawaii. I believe this wahine is Laurie Keako'a Grant, Kahuna Ho'okahi. Her ARCH healing techniques are the purest form I have ever experienced personally. I believe they go back to the time when the Kahuna's practiced without herbs and medicine and did unbelievable healing of great magnitude, through the "Spiritual Realm."

Laurie Keako'a Grant, Kahuna Ho'okahi and her ARCH teachings and her passion goes very deep in my soul body, like something so close to home, something so familiar, something so ancient and long ago, that I find comfort in it. In the process I am recalling who I am, what I am capable of and what my mission is and what my passion is. Kahuna Ho'okahi has expanded and given me great inspiration regarding my own learned healing arts.
