We hope that you had an amazing summer and found time to play. Now remember to find time to play throughout the year not just on special occasions.We are busy getting ready to build the foundation for the Hina Kahuna Order - maybe literally with constructing a Hina Ho'okahi Heiau (Oneness Temple). We also hope to make a Hawaiian Medicine plant garden and thatched roof hale (meeting house). Are you getting chicken skin (goose bumps) yet? If so, you are meant to be a part of this...
If you are new to our Oneness Ohana (family), you might not be aware that part of my kuleana is to reawaken the Hina (Moon Goddess and feminine aspect) of the Ku (Male God and masculine aspect) of the Ku/Hina order of Kahuna. Before the 12th century, the Ku/Hina Order honored both parts and knew that you could not have the rising of the sun (Ku) without the setting of the sun (Hina), the East (Ku) without the West (Hina), the earth (Ku) without the sky (Hina), etc... According to my hanai (adoptive) Papa, Ku Kahuna Lokahi, before the 12th century, the Ku Order was a matriarchal society. Then the men took over power and made Ku into a war God. Now Papa says we have to go back to the peace and love and the only way that that is going to happen is if a woman is in charge. That is why he made the head of his Order.
Both men and women are going to be part of the reawakening. It has to be pono (correct and in balance). The people who are going to be in the Hina Kahuna program this year will be helping to build the foundation, whether that is literal or figurative. Of course The Cosmic Mother and Hina will be overseeing the whole thing. If you have taken all the ARCH seminars, all of the I'O seminars, and have finished or are finishing up, The Kaula Program, you are eligible to apply to the Hina Kahuna Program. Those of you who are eligible and who have already let us know that you are interested we will be sending you an application form in the near future. The form will mostly help you identify why you want to become a Hina Kahuna.

A story has been passed down through his ancestors that a fair haired wahine(woman)would take a leadership role in his tradition. Spiritual Retreat/Playshop
Sedona, AZI wondered why I was being guided to do these Playshops this year instead of my usual classes and what I got is...this is what people need right now to counterbalance what is in the media about the state of the economy and the darkness/depression it is focusing on. We as light workers need to hold the vision of the light. Remember we are moving along our path toward enlightenment, not endarkenment. These playshops/spiritual retreats are a fun, positive, yet growth producing way of moving toward that higher level of consciousness and reminding us of what it is all about. Now it makes sense. Freedom and Jeff
Freedom and I have been together 10 years this summer. She came in as a baby in 1998 with two broken wings. Her left wing doesn't open all the way even after surgery, it was broken in 4 places. She's my baby.
When Freedom came in she could not stand and both wings were broken. She was emaciated and covered in lice. We made the decision to give her a chance at life, so I took her to the vets office. From then on, I was always around her. We had her in a huge dog carrier with the top off, and it was loaded up with shredded newspaper for her to lay in. I used to sit and talk to her, urging her to live, to fight; and she would lay there looking at me with those big brown eyes. We also had to tube feed her for weeks.
This went on for 4-6 weeks, and by then she still couldn't stand. It got to the point where the decision was made to euthanize her if she couldn't stand in a week. You know you don't want to cross that line between torture and rehab, and it looked like death was winning. She was going to be put down that Friday, and I was supposed to come in on that Thursday afternoon. I didn't want to go to the center that Thursday, because I couldn't bear the thought of her being euthanized; but I went anyway, and when I walked in everyone was grinning from ear to ear. I went immediately back to her cage; and there she was, standing on her own, a big beautiful eagle. She was ready to live. I was just about in tears by then. That was a very good day.
We knew she could never fly, so the director asked me to glove train her. I got her used to the glove, and then to jesses, and we started doing education programs for schools in western Washington .. We wound up in the newspapers, radio (believe it or not) and some TV. Miracle Pets even did a show about us.
Meditation of the Mahina (month):
- When you are done, shut the door.
- Come all the way back down in your body.
- Come out of your meditation.
- Write it down.
ARCH/I'O 'IKE (experience) of the Month "The transformation continues to happen. On Wednesday of this week I was strongly led to visit the White House web site to see if President Obama was really coming to Grand Junction for a “Town Hall Meeting”. I wanted to attend and while I was filling out the form to enter the ticket lottery, I just knew that I would be going. Ticket winners would be notified on Thursday. Thursday I got home from work about 6PM and shortly thereafter I received the phone call from the White House committee telling me that I had two tickets waiting for me to pick up in Grand Junction on Friday. I also had a scheduled airport pickup Friday during the hours tickets could be claimed! Everything fit so perfectly. I know that if class participants continue to keep their chakra’s cleared the flow to abundance will continue as well. I have put forth that I will draw to me those individuals I can help by using ARCH. Thursday night I also had a phone call from an acquaintance who is struggling with a major decision in her life. Her words were, I was lead to call you because I knew I could talk to you about this whole problem without any judgment or personal feelings shadowing the conversation. She also wants to arrange an ARCH treatment! (Her best friend is a healer in another modality, so ARCH is new to her). I would tell participants of your seminars to take the lessons and transmissions seriously and continue to do the work after the class ends. You will see the results in many amazing ways!"
